TAKEOVER
As the Arabs have completed their long saga of the takeover the club now are looking for a fresh start. With the big summer departures of the likes of Niko Kranjcar, Glen Johnson, Sylvain Distin the club are battling to sign new faces. The arabs have started this by removing current manager Paul Hart with immediate effect. The Arabs have been quick to appoint a successor. The successor is the relativly unknown 41 year old Vincent Simons. Simons is new to management but not new to the game, Having represented Belgium 71 times in his playing career scoring 9 goals. In his club career he played for Anderlecht and Standerd Liege along with playing in denmark and greece. Simons is fluent in several languages including English,French and German. Simons is said to be delighted to have the chance to manage Portsmouth and is looking forward to the challenge. Though portsmouth have been taken over this has in no way secured there finances this is said to be underlined by there being no transfer money available to spend.

Particularly pleasing was the 1-0 win against chelsea :)
