Possible to add nations when game's been started?

Hey.. I'm new to these forums so I apologize if this has been asked before.. basically I started a game with small db + only being able to manage in England, Spain and Italy as I guessed I would probably only do a season and then get bored and quit.. 7 seasons later I find myself still on it after managing at a few different teams.. what I'm wondering now is if it is possible for me to add more manageable nations after I have started as I would like to manage in other places but don't particulary wish to begin a new game :\

I'm 99% sure there's no way to do it except maybe with that real time editor? It's my one big regret as my Lyon save has lasted longer than I expected, with only the french leagues loaded
