Postponed Games on FM11

Is it possible for a game to get called off? Ive never came across it?

Has happened, but usually only happens in Lower Leagues (Poorer quality pitches)
Matches are only called off after heavy rain or ice I believe- You can check the forcast of matches on the fixtures page.

Once upon a time in a different game
(Championship Manager I think was it's name)
Games would be called off all of the time
For snow and for ice (and wind; and rain)
Three games a week would often be played
Sometimes it was just insane!

But now we have FM.. (a gentler game)
Where your team's fixtures only change
When you've got to play a different match
(let's hope they fix it in the next patch)
I know that hope is just pie in the sky
But you never know.. Sort it out SI!

But to answer your question, I haven't seen a game postponed for weather reasons since about CM 99/00 (perhaps earlier than that)

I was playing in Iceland and in winter some/most of the matches get postponed because of the heavy snow.

I've seen some get called off for a waterlogged pitch, but strangely never for snow :/

in this FM i have had games called off due to heavy snow - I was charlton and it was against brentford - so it does happen
