Hi all.
Now I don't normally ask around forums for potential transfers, as I prefer looking myself, but I really can't find anybody.
I'm with Siena, about to start my 3rd season. 1st season I finished 9th, 2nd season 9th again, with a Coppa Italia final (lost). The Coppa Italia final gave me access to the Europa League. I want good players, possibly, rejects from the bigger teams. Wages and transfer budget is not a problem. I sold ~34M in the last 2 seasons and bought a mere 11M. I have 20M transfer budget and 250k/w wages.
Last year I managed to get a few good players on loan. namely Kyle Bartley, Phillipe Mexes and Coutinho. Mexes came in January, probably because I was sitting 3rd.Even with an Europa League finish, I can't attract high caliber players. Bartley doesn't want to join back (had an offer accepted for 2.2M), Mexes neither (loan) and even mid-rep players.
Here is my team:
GK:
Juan Pablo Carrizo (Free - 3rd Season)
Gianluca Pegolo (Beginning of game)
DR:
Nenad Tomovic (625K - 2nd Season)
Martin Montoya (4.1M - 3rd Season)
DC:
Raffik Halliche (Free - 3rd Season)
DL:
Federico Peluso (Loan - 3rd Season)
MC:
Marco Verrati (2.8M - 1st Season)
Alessandro Gazzi (Beginning of Game)
Mohamed Diame (Free - 2nd Season)
Eyong Enoh (Free - 2nd Season)
Luca Marrone (Loan - 3rd Season)
AMC:
Roberto Firminio (2.5M - 3rd Season)
Diego Buonanotte (Loan - 3rd Season)
ST:
Alberto Paloschi (Free - 2nd Season)
Oliver Giroud (Free - 3rd Season)
Alan Kardec (875K - 3rd Season)
Mattio Destro (Beginning of Season [Bought for 1.2M])
As you can see my team is pretty strong. I need to buy 5 more players though. 3 CB, 1DL and 1MC.
The CB have to be pretty good, around as good as Mexes. They can also be 'okay' but have potential (like Bartley).
The LB has to be good too. Peluso is good both as a starter and as cover, so someone like him is good.
The CM has to have offensive characteristics. He must me better attacking then defending (not like Gazzi, Enoh etc.)
Any ideas?
