I am getting really frustrated with some aspects of the game, not really sure where am I going wrong.
No matter what approach I take (calm, passionate, assertive), the outcome usually ends up negatively on players mindset.
This applies to 2 aspects of the game in particular:
- Praising a player for good performance
- Holding a team meeting (start of season/after national call up)
I have no problem with Team talks during matches, - usually quite succesfull with these, but I have just praised 3 players for their club performances and they pretty much said I am bonkers and they disagree with me....
Any advice on the matter?
