How often should i do this and what rating should they be to praise and criticise them. I was wondering does praising and criticising get the hands on approach stat up?

Praise a win or a spirited performance against stronger teams. [I.E Hull drawing against Arsenal or just losing]

Be disappointed by a narrow loss and criticise for a heavy defeat.

i meant like praising players form

oh, then do what taida said
once one of my players had a 9.9 rating and I said he was fantastic in team talk and in the media, he had a poor morale and after I prised him, his morale became superb

sorry dont understand what i want to know is how often i shoulkd praise and criticise in the interaction section and what rating should i praise and criticise

Just do it when a staff member recommends to in the backroom advice. They normally always tell you to praise when someone has been playing well.

I hate when I praise player and he said that he don't play good and then his morale drop!

I find that the backroom staff gives pretty bad advice for praising/criticizing no matter how good their man management is. They always screw everything up.

As far as what ratings --> what to say, it all depends on the talent level of the player and his attitude. VERY generally, I use these guidelines in the EPL:

6.6 and under = deeply upset
6.6 - 6.8 = disappointed
6.8 - 6.9 = below par
7.0 - 7.4 = acceptable
7.5 - 7.8 = pleased
7.9 and up = delighted

But again these will generally be lower in lower divisions, and you have to figure out how to adjust based on the player.......for instance, twice I've said Mamadou Sahko was playing acceptable when he had around a 7.25 over last five games, and both times he got annoyed and said he wasn't playing well. Obviously his range is all a lot higher.
