Pre-match advice help

Sorry if this is a dumb question but in previous versions of the game prior to a match I'd get a message from my assistant pop up saying something like he 'recommends playing with narrow width and cautious tackling' and even give advice on best formation to use vs a specific opponent. But on this version of the game I can't see any of that. Is it done automatically or am I missing something?

I think what you're looking for is, when your in a match, or doing pre-match preparations, if you go on the tactics screen, there's a tab next to the tactics selector which says advice, if you click on it then it has advice that your assistant manager has given you, and you can view this at any time during a match.

On FM12 ,the match preparation is different from the previous FM. Therefore there is no way to get back the old match preparation report. The best is to study see where your opponent assist most of their goal from and try to find a way to counter it.
