Interesting though that wages as a percentage of turnover has remained static for the Premier League (62%). Essentially, the Premier League is getting more money in and so spending more on wages as a result - it's not being funded any differently to how it's always been funded.
Chelsea's and the Mancs' wage costs are a shocker though - up by nearly 30%?! And Newcastle's increased by 50% which is insane. Sunderland and Derby started from a much lower base so that was to be expected.
