Note: Idea gathered from another forum I frequent. Don't look at me like that. FM-Base for the win, etc.
Note 2: I changed the rules a bit to make it different. Now it's FM-Base original.
How it works:
Each week, you choose a team from the list of fixtures available, who you believe will win their match. If the team wins, then you progress onto the next gameweek. If your team loses, then you are out. I will be keeping track of everyone's results, so save me some work and don't try cheating.
-----
Important: When making your prediction, copy and paste the previous post's predictions ahead of yours, so the list is constantly updated.
For example:
Post #1:
Billy - Chelsea
Post #2:
Billy - Chelsea
Sean - Manchester United
Post #3:
Billy - Chelsea
Sean - Manchester United
Lee - Manchester United
And so on. This will help keep the current predictions at the fore, constantly.
-----
Rules:
1. You can't pick the same team twice in a row.
2. You progress only if your team wins the match. A draw yields the same result as a loss - Your failure to progress to the next gameweek.
3. Please don't spam the thread. Keep your posts purely for your weekly prediction please. I will create a separate discussion thread for you to discuss your predictions, and also provide you with a place to suitably mock your opposition if they ever back Wigan, for example.
4. If you don't participate in each gameweek, then you don't advance. People coming in later have an obvious advantage. So if you miss gameweek 3, and then try and play in gameweek 4, then your entry will be disallowed.
I'm aware that the season has already begun, which is a bummer, but I think it's safe to say that everyone would have chosen Chelsea to begin with, and Arsenal this week, so no big deal there, we can safely assume that everyone would still be in! (H)
