It's not over yet in the title race with Chelsea and Manchester United going head-to-head,with the underdogs Arsenal already looking out of it and the battle for fourth is really getting to both Tottenham and Manchester City,as their final games of the season become crucial and the surprise entrance of Aston Villa so late in the day really stirring things up.

It's a team of the year, so no individuals for me. I cba for subs aswell LOL..

Just backing up why I chose Shawcross
He's been solid for majority of the season. I don't want to grudge him on that one incident.Don't think he meant it either

These type of threads are getting so boring |)

Anyway here's mine:

Joe Hart
Branislav Ivanovic - James Collins - Alex - Gareth Bale
Antonio Valencia - Frank Lampard - Scott Parker - Flo Malouda
Carlos Tevez - Didier Drogba

Point made.

I just think that if he could of done without that, then the cloud hanging over his head wouldn't overshadow how much of a rock he's been in that defence for Stoke this season.

He was signed from Manchester United anyway ;)

Theo Walcott has been poor all season and has no football brain how can you put him in your team of the season?

I had no other choice.Lennon dropped in form for Spurs so he was out of the running.

Joe Hart
Ivanovic ~ Dawson ~ Collins ~ Zhirkov
Valencia ~ Milner ~ Malouda
Teves ~ Drogba ~ Rooney

No-one stands out in the whole league for defence.
A bit of a dodgey formation but no one comes to mind that has been great, besides the front 3, and Joe Hart.
Malouda has recently been amazing, and Zhirkov is the only person who can actually go into the left back position, who else is there?

Player of the Year: Rooney by some distance
Young PotY: James Milner.

Bold indicates the star for me in each area/position.

I would rather you stick Tevez on the wing and make it a 4-4-2,instead of a 4-3-3.

Rooney can't play as a left winger but I do agree with the Milner bit in him being the young PotY.

I don't see how you can add Phil Neville to your team of the year.

But then again,I rarely see him on Match of the Day XD

He's been consistent all season

I agree, Walcott has no place, but you put in John O'Shea in your eleven, that's downright idiotic.

GK: Pepe Reina
LB: Patrice Evra
CB: Richard Dunne
CB: Nemanja Vidic
RB: Branislav Ivanović

CM: Cesc Fàbregas

Hate to leave out Essien and Torres, but they've both had their injury troubles this season, as has Ashley Cole. Vermaelen has been excellent throughout the bulk of the season, but found a bit wanting in some big matches unfortunately. I love him, but Vidic is still the better player overall, even though he hasn't had an exceptional season.

I'm surprised you didn't go for Joe Hart as your goalkeeper,he's been much better than Reina has and has been consistent in helping Birmingham get into the top half of the table.Lampard, knowing that he's underrated,he does deserve a place and Dawson should be there instead of Richard Dunne,I have to say.Dawson has been better statistically and a solid player in the backline of the Spurs defence in the absence of Woodgate.

Or maybe that's because you hate Tottenham.. ;)

I dislike United and Chelsea more than I do Tottenham, such is the perpetual averageness of Tottenham, so that's nothing to do with it. I have to say, I've not watched too many Sp*rs games (has everything to do with that crapness I spoke of).

Why do you think Hart has been better? Reina has kept Liverpool in so many games this season. Their defence has been a shambles throughout most of the year, whilst Birmingham are quite sound defensively. Reina, for me, is miles ahead of Hart.
