The English Premier League starts on the 16th of August, bringing us the 23rd season of top flight football in England since breaking away from the Football League Fist Division in 1992.
infinitybet have multiple markets available on every match, as well as league and player future markets.
Over the last 2 decades the league has produced top world class players like David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Robin Van Persie, Andy Cole, Eric Cantona,Xabi Alonso, Carlos Tevez and many manymore.
Right now, another one of its stars, Luis Suarez has just departed from Liverpool (11.00) to Barcelona for an amount of E75 million, making him one of the most expensive players in the world.
The Uruguayan international was a big part of Liverpool’s stunning Premier League campaign last season. He had 33 Appearances with 31 goals. He also won the PFA Player of the Year Award, but the club hasn’t been shy in spending the fee on a number of new signings.
Manchester City (3.10) also strengthened their lineup by breaking the hearts of Chelsea fans and signing Frank Lampard. The English skipper also came with BacarySagnaon a free transfer from Arsenal.
Another transfer highlight is the move of Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez from FC Barcelona to Arsenal (7.00) for £30 million. Arsene Wenger’s attempts to strengthen his squad’s attack by pairing him with German attacking midfielder MesutOzil could see them improve after finishing only fourth in the table last season.
Of course, with all these moves happening this summer, you cannot discount Chelsea (2.80). After selling David Luiz to PSG for E50 million, they have recently gotten back Belgian goalkeeper ThibautCourtois from a loan to Atletico Madrid, and the youngster has proven that he’s a real contender to Peter Cech. Also coming in from Atletico is Spanish striker Diego Costa for a fee of £32 million. The pair from Atleticohad a spectacular La Liga campaign last season helping the squad win the La Liga title and reach the Champions League Final, which by the way involved crushing Chelsea (their now current team) at home.
Also coming in to West London is Barcelona Midfielder and former Arsenal man CescFabregas who can prove to be a good source of assists and goals. And last but not the least, Didier Drogba, a fan favorite at Stamford Bridge has signed a new contract with Jose Mourinho’s squad after a brief stint at Galatasaray.
With all this good news for Chelsea fans, they will be excited to see that their Blues are this years favorites for winning the title.
