Prices Droping

Ok i bought D.Goodwillie for my rangers side for 5million after 48months. But his price has dropped to 2million after the 2nd season. Why? He has been my top goalscorer for 2 years running.
 
People playing in the SPL will drop significantly, it's only players that play for the biggest clubs and challenge for the Champions League every season that will increase.
 
Yeh but surley if someone was scoring all the time then there price would rise? I know the SPL aint the biggest league in the world but It produces some very good players which i reckon should be for a good amount of money!
 
I think it is to do with the club and players reputation and facilities?
 
When he was bought for 5million, surely he wasn't worth that much and you had to pay more than his value? Maybe his value is just dropping towards what it was before he joined?
 
You should only care about his value if you are going to sell him. Otherwise it is basically meaningless - attributes are what matter ;). There are lots of factors that will be affecting it like form, time left on contract, CA ect.
 
its normal, if the player is not regularly playing, or in this case, scoring.

i had neyamr in my arsenal save, and after scoring 15 goals in the first season, his price tag rose form 15m to 25m

then i had sanago, who had a good season , but managed to get 10 only, dropped a bit from 11m to 9.5m
 
@roverstillidie: Well i dont think he is worth that much but dundee united werent accepting anything less. Plus i did 5million over 48 months. And he has been my top goalscorer 2 years running.

@Tharros: Yeh his attributes are still very good. He is amazing in the SPL Prob the best Striker IMO in The SPL. I aint going to sell him yet think i will keep him as he will be playing his best football in about 2/3years.

@LOL_101: He is playing all the time and scoring all the time that is what i dont get. He is my 1st choice Striker. In 2 years at my Club he has scored 43 goals. Wish i think is very good in 2 years at Any club.
