My question is can you update the january transfer window (real life) into a current game? or have you got to start a whole new game again.

also the same question goes for the patches, can you incorporate a new patch into a current running game or have you got to start a new game again?

The transfers and attribute changes only affect new games but changes to the game engine and so on affect every game.

ok. so in theory if i wanted to wait until my real club i support buys players in january thern i would have to start a new game on 1st febuary?

also can you create new teams at very low level to play with?

Assuming the patch for the game was completed by the 1st February, then yes.

And yes you can create new teams, using the editor that comes with the game.
