Probelms with tactics and fitness

Hi Guys,

Newbie here so be kind.

First off i am mid way through my first season with Leeds UTD, not doing too bad but not doing great either. I am currently playing a 4-1-3-2 formation.

My first issue is Fitness, I am really struggling with injuries. and after every game i have to rotate my players. But with Master Bates as my Chairman he does not give me a great deal of money so i am stuck with a small squad.

I have tried leaving my assman to do the training

But this does not improve anything, but i also notice my assistant manager telling me mid game that we give away too much from set pieces and should try def. set peices for the next game but he never sets this up? Am i doing something wrong or is my assman just not too good?

I am not after winning every game 10-0 but i would like to be able to keep my players fit and at least have a few more shots on target. At the moment it feels like every time my opponents attack they are going to score.

I have also tried downloading different tactics but i am struggling (Once i click on the download, it tries to download them using Utorrent, But Utorrent does not recognise the file type i think)

Any help would be appreciated greatly.
 
Utorrent wont recognise the file type cos its .tac and not a torrent file.

Tick allow rest before the match, this will give an extra day for your players to recover between matches, also fitness training I believe wont help improve the condition of the team and prevent injuries, I believe this will try to increase fitness related player attributes instead. try changing that to balanced.

If you feel your team will concede each time the opposition attacks try defensive positioning in your match prep. its what I do to reduce conceded goal amounts.

Other than that your team wont play to its best in the tactic you've given till it is 100% fluid in all area's along with settling time for the team to gel.

For a small team with little money try to sign free players and this should help you to start with.
