Problem with Lucas contract

I want to sign Lucas from Sao Paulo. I am Betis and I have enough funds to fulfill this transfer. But his agent don't want to eliminate the clause that he can go for a bigger club for 4,2 mio. What can I do to eliminate this clause. I know that Lucas will be one of my best players and bigger clubs surely want to buy him, so try to avoid that. please help me
