Hey everyone :)...

I am kind of new to the FM 2009 game and I have a problem:


I have started a new season with FC Bayern and I have bought Darijo Srna, but I have not been able to use him in any league games. It says next to his name: "cannot be registered for next match".
I have been able to use him in the European Champions Cup and German Cup games but no German League games.

How can I fix this?

I hope you guys can help me..
 
how many foreigners do you have in your team? i believe there is some sort of quota or something in the german leagues although i havent played german leagues before.
 
Well I have at least five.. That may be the problem but I no trouble using the other foreigners at any time.. only Srna
 
Did you have to register players at the start of the season? Like in Spain you can only register 25 players and if your not registered you cannot play.
 
Yeah I did.. And I'm pretty sure I got him registered there, but maybe I just missed him ;)
 
Well if u did miss him you can normally edit your squad in January.
 
Yeah that really sucks.. I have good replacements but when you buy a great new player you want to use him ;)
 
hmm, my only advice now is to sell him if he becomes unhappy. in my pompey game, i signed pablo ledesma for 6m pounds WITHOUT a god **** work permit!!!! i was certain i could improve him but then, he couldnt play at all. sold him in the end for 12m pounds. keep him if you can and hopefully, u can register him in jan. otherwise, sell at double his price.
