Problems Loading Football Manager

I can only run the game through Steam (if that decides to load) and i have no desktop icon of football manager 2010, and i have no were i can access the files like data editor?? How can i sort this out so i can get on data editor and have an icon so i can double click on that to load??

Computer> C Drive > Programme files > Steam > Steam Apps > Common > There you will see a FM10 icon,shortcut it to your desktop. Also there you will see a "tools" file,go into it then go into the file called editor,there you will see a little football icon,shortcut that to your desktop too,thats your editor.

help when i load fm2010 i can play games when i save and then try to play later it just goes to game status screen and i can do nothing more to retrieve my saved game help
