Profligacy in front of goal

Am having a problem- the team dominates the game, has 30 shots, 10 on target and scores just 1 or 2. I can understand this happening once or twice, but on a regular basis? I have kept the shooting training for the forwards and the midfielders to intensive but the wastefulness persists. Any reasons for the same?

have the exact same problem, at least 5 or 6 clear cut chances a game and a draw games 1-1 or 2-2, the other team has 2 chances all game and they bury them and its just very frustrating

Yer same here and I tell what gets me is the computer one chance and stick it in lol. So annoying!

Well depends on the quality of the players...the tactic may be good if you create so many chances but your players lack quality.

Abysel is right, however if you dominate games so easily you probably have a good squad what you need is a goal scorer. The reason why your opponents score so easily is because they go on the counter attack which often leads to 1 on 1's. Here's what I would do to score more:

1. Try getting your best passers to give more through balls, this leads to more 1 on 1's.
2. Check out your players finishing stats, theres no point in playing a bad finisher in a goal scoring role if they cant find the back of the net.
3. Decrease long shots for players with bad long shot attributes

got torres, hulk, carroll and suarez as strikers. cant think of better finishers. even i have one-on-one situations at least 5-7 times a game and they scuff the shot wide. i guess it has something to do with complacency in the team if the game is too easy, but how do i solve it? thats the q thats driving me up the wall

2 things you can do:
1- TELL THEM THERE NOT DOING WELL. The Private Chat thingy is a massive tool in your arsenal. Don't use with Carroll though, He's just a moody ****** on FM
2- Change Tactic? It makes a massive difference.
