I was just wondering if it's possible to promote a country's football leagues. Say, for example, you took over Malmo in Sweden, won back to back champions leagues and took over the national team, competing in the finals of World Cups.
Would that see the league reputation rise to a point whereby prize money etc starts to increase? Where teams start to gain more money? Or are these leagues always destined for mediocrity in comparison to the bigger leagues.
