As many people have probably noticed, as you search through the player section on this website, many of the players you find are most likely foreign. Examples that come to mind are Villa, Aguero and Akinfeev.

I decided that I wanted to start a game with as many british players as possible. I made a new club, Durrington FC, and placed them in the Premier Leauge (Replacing Sunderland) I have a Transfer Budget of 200 mil and a wage budget of 952,000 pounds.

During this story, I am only allowed to have a maximum of 4 non-british player at my club at one time.

My aim is to show the world that british players have what it takes to actually win something!

1st Season Goals : Finish 6th in the Premiership
Reach the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup
Reach the Semi-Finals of the Carling Cup

I wouldnt normally, but he was the best british centre mid that wanted to join. Spurs we're being really annoying with negotiations. They wanted 15 milion for Danny Rose and they wanted 90 Milion for Aaron Lennon :S

I tried an all-English team with Aston Villa before. Its tough because you always have to pay stupid transfer fees for players

As for this concept; you should try it with all British players, or to be even more hardcore; all English players.

August Update​

Its the end of a busy transfer window for me. I had 200 Million pounds to create a mid-table team. The only problem was that the board would only let me sign 4 Non-british players! This meant I would have to look for some good signings within england, and make use of my 4 non-british ones. In total I made 20 signings​

Not the best start to the leauge, but we did put in some good performances against Manchester City and Liverpool. We deserved to come away with at least a draw from both matches. The Tottenham game, on the other hand, was dreadful, our marking was woeful and we game away some really sloppy goals.​
