Signed him for my Norwich team, now about to start my first season in the Premier League and he's 17 but probably my best left back on par with Steven Smith. Last season in the championship Steven Smith is out on loan because thats how it starts. Mark Tierney had the highest tackle average per game in the championship. Adam Drury was backup.

Now my question, is he to young to be relying on as my first choice left back? Shall i loan him out or play him? If its to early to play him, which player should i play?

He's definitely not too young, i've had him in a few saves and he develops far quicker and reaches a higher standard if you play him in your 1st team instead of sending him out on loan to lower divisions. The main thing I find with inexperienced defenders is that they can pick up red cards easily, but they tend not to be any more prone to defensive howlers than any other player...

IMO he's too young to play in your first team in only 2nd season. He's also very slow for a full back which may mean that in the premiership, fast players could destroy him. But not sure whether you should loan him or not. your choice.

I'm currently playing as Liverpool. In my first season, I won the league. I didnt buy any left back coz I spend most of my budgets on Hulk, so I played Aurelio and Robinson as back up instead. Aurelio is always injured, so I have no choice but to play Jack Robinson. He picked up average rating of around 6.9-7.5,mostly 6.9 but didnt make any mistake at all. He's pretty decent. So if he's not too young to play regularly in a team that won the league, surely he's not too young to play in Norwich's first team.

Turns into a great player. Played him as a sub and in cup matches and he pushed for a first team place ahead of Coentrao. Speed doesnt seem to be an issue with him and he has a lot of assists for a LB!

Throw him in, ill tell you why.

I came accross a regen called Richard Banker in season 2020, and I decided to play him in every game, he is now valued at 41million end 2 seasons in and best player in the world.

Players improve drastically with first team experience,
