Looks like Ivan Rakitic has gotten his way as he makes his move to sevilla. His contract was running out in the summer and Magath had no choice but to let him move on.
german website ARD claims that ghanaian ace Anthony Annan will be the man to replace him, could be a very good move..

Where is a source for this?

I'm not sure Rakitic would fit in at Sevilla, but it would be interesting to see him in Spanish football. Annan now has the chance to prove himself in top European football. Good move for the Ghanaian.

Good to see Annan in a major league now. Been an fm star for a while, will be good to see him actually play.

Annan wont be getting signed for cheap on fm 2012 if the move goes through

Unusual move, Rakitic is a playmaker, and Annan a tough defensive mid....

Pleased to see Rakitic step up, really is a wondrous player. Annan can now prove himself.

yeah well that may be the case but schalke also have kenia and jurado pushing for that attacking role, and don't forget that they just sold one of their defensive midfielders, Jermaine Jones, to Blackburn, so it's not really a surprise that that is the position they are prioritising.
