Bolton vs Man City about 60th minute Cahill goes in goal :S, i didnt even notice till after the game he came to me and said he was unhappy about being played out of position and now wants to leave the club

Since I won't be getting FM11 until Christmas, I don't have a full idea of what to do - even with the demo.

You could continually play him in his natural position (central defender) and praise him. He will grow back into the side.

im not worried about keeping him ive the power to keep who i like, i just dont wanna see my players moving and playing in goal nearly cost me the game

Invest in some new talent between the sticks or bring up some new youth from the reserves or youth team?

You sound like you have a good amount of money to invest, so improve on both areas so you can cover for both places.
