Its the first time I have decided to do a random challenge, with my laptop breaking on me and loosing all my hard drive data, I thought... what have I got to loose?
Nottingham, one of the biggest cities in the UK, plays home to one of the most successful teams in English history. Nottingham Forest - under the guidance of the legend Brian Clough they were amongst the European elite. They have arguably one of the best teams in regards of history in the English Divisions, but this story is about the smaller team in Nottingham, just a little down the road ... Welcome to Meadow Lane the home of Notts County.
Here is a little history of The Mags, They have never won the league one trophy, but have won the Championship? here is my targets for 3 seasons:
> Become an Established force in League One
> Promotion, either Winner or Play Offs
> Survive Championship
> Bring in mainly young players - through affiliations and loans
Current Side:
Key Players (In My Opinion)
Roy Carrol - Once a top premier league keeper, Won the premier league with Manchester United. 50 games for Manchester United in the league in four years at the top level, Won the Super League in Greece. Captain for his Country, Northern Ireland. Believe his experience and knowledge of the game can brush on to the other players.
Hayden Mullins - A solid championship midfielder, despite his age of 35 he still has 19 natural fitness, Proven midfielder for West Ham, Reading, Birmingham. All established team, believe he can control the midfield and help both attack and defence.
Zeli Ismali - A promising winger from Wolves. despite limited appearances due to the likes of Bakery Sako holding the position of LM, I believe Ismali has a bright future ahead of him, a number of good stats which could lead to him developing into a top signing - hopefully can seal him on a permanent if he impresses.
Tactics - I discovered this tactic whilst on my last game and I'm going to give it a go with Notts - 4 2 3 1. Depending on my opponent either a DM or CAM, I look to go into every game to win, No point going into games looking for a draw, Go hard or Go Home.
