I am a big fan of re-training players to play positions I need covering. There's nothing more satisfying than taking a player that's not used much, re-training him into a new area and him becoming one of the best players and first names on your team sheet!
Now, I just wanted to ask. Has anyone ever come across this: whilst re-training Rooney to play AMC in my tactic, he has developed his game to play AML aswell! He is now rated dark-green (accomplished) despite only ever playing there 3 times (through injuries and suspensions) and never once being instructed to play there.
This isn't a moan, just wondering how often this happens - a player learns a position just through a handful of minutes playing in it. Whilst doing this he has also become accomplished at AMC! He must be very adaptable!
