Just doing some experimenting, any idea why Real Madrid have a transfer budget in the 2009/10 season of £8.75m roughly when they were the highest spenders (above Manchester City) in this season with a expenditure of like £200m.
 
Because they already bought Ronaldo, Kaka and Benezema..

.. oh and Alonso..

Thus no money left.

Ah I see, I was thinking that it starts with the whole budget regardless of whose in the team to start with. Haha, thanks, it did seem a bit odd.
 
But M.City also spent lots of money this summer still they have high budget?

Thats what you get when you have filthy rich owners who will pump money in the club and have no limit to transfer money
