Really good season at southampton and good transfers

so i just finish my 1st season and i did really good way better than i thought and i think i made some amazing tranfers so far since i starded playing FM back in 2011 my goal has always been to be a Porto like team what i mean by that is to discover young talents with potential to be world class and then sell them for like 30-40 Mil so here is my fist season at southampton

So on my first transfer window i got the wonderkids that everyone gets at the start i also found a player that is the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic i have never seen anyone else get him but i found him on my fist ever save on fm14 because Arsenal,Napoli,AC Milan, Man U,and real madrid always whant him at the start of the game his name is Valmir Berisha here a screenshot after the fist season

So after the season i ended up in 3rd Tom Ince was on fire all season aswell as Jay Rodriguez everyone played really well

Jay Rodriguez got top Goal scorer Tom Ince should have won young player of the year i think that lamella winning it was bullshit Ince played 1 more game but got 4 more goals

So there it is tell me what you think this is my first post i think so be nice :) if you guys want a screenshot from any player pease tell me you will be amazed by how much my players have develop like Luke shaw and btw if you guys know any left back that is cheep with at least 16 determination that can tutor luke shaw? like you know he has to have better reputation the him thanks.
 
Some impressive transfer business, surprised to see Osvaldo out on loan immediately, I always do that if I manage southampton because I can never get him to perform well for me, always thought it was just me. I'm doing something similar with Ajax, developing young players/buying them cheap and selling them for massive profit, bonus with Ajax is they continuously pump out great dutch players. What leagues did you have loaded for Khune & Berisha? Never appeared in my saves.

Good business in the 2nd window aswell, looks like PSG were gonna have Schneiderlin at all costs! Curious to know what your long term plans are for this save, become a dominant team in the league and europe? or continue developing young players into world-beaters and selling them on for profit?
 
Osvaldo sucks **** this is my 3 save with southampton and in the fist 2 he played every game as a striker and only got 6 goals fist save 2nd he got 9 and the bad thing is I CAN NEVER SELL HIM! no team wants his i i just loned hi out the first season were he did good 16 goals in 39 games

Khune is an amazing GK i always thought since the 2010 world cup that he was wasted in africa cause he is good enough for teams in european football after the 1st season Napoli Athetico de Madrd and AC Milan wanted him but i put a asking price of 25 so they left me alone pic after 1 season

my plan is to develop young players and sell for like 35-40 mil but if player are going for that they have to be good i i will become a dominant team in the league and europe eventually thanks for the comment means a lot
 
im doing a similar save with southampton at the moment.

first season i finished 3rd and won the carling cup.

second season i won the league, the carling cup, the fa cup and the europa league (finished 3rd in champs league group)

doing third season at the moment in january, 3rd at the moment, and still in all other comps.

end of first season i sold wanyama and schniederlin for ?35million each to PSG and also Ramirez to Man City for ?34million.

end of second season i sold Clyne to arsenal for ?18million, Osvaldo to Marsielle for ?8million. I also sold mohammed diame to AC milan for ?30million (bought him at start of game for his ?3.5million release clause. Sold Mitrovic to Dortmund for ?46million (brought him for ?12million after first season).

Also sold a few more players for good profit but cant remember who off the top of my head, ive just been replacing them with younger and cheaper players, currently got over ?100million transfer budget and over ?2million spare in wages. Lol.

End of this third season im going to sell Rodriguez(had bids of ?30million end of second season for him, so should get more) and ward prowse(had bids of ?43million for him end of second season so should get more).

Ill keep playing until i win the champs league and also the richest club in the world.
 
dauuum nice yea after the 2nd season im going to sell jay rodriguez for like 25 or 30 and buy Mitrovic as his replacement
 
I've been playing Southampton for a while now. It can become a really, really, rich club with transfers. I'll give you a breakdown of them..

So, I kept most of the old squad, and decided to spend cash to get some new blood. Tom Ince and Jordan Jones, both excellent cheap players in for 5.25M each, and probably among my best piece of businesses. Macheda for 1M is an excellent deal for Soton. Others are pretty self-explanatory.

2nd window, Rodriguez and Lovren fund the take-in of many players. The winning of the Capital One Cup means that I get extra funds to actually make a Champions League challenging team. All of the deals are Initial Cash + Amount later on + Conditions.


And due to the excellent players obtained, better revenues, better victories..

And so, it continues.. Although, I never bought players to sell at a profit. I mostly wanted to retain them until there is an already better prospect around, since I was trying for World Domination, and well, Southampton are rich enough already.

Afew great success stories here as Southampton.I haven't been as successful but I did finish 3rd first season aswell.
I'm now in 2016 and only won the fa cup.I've managed to get my stadium up to 50000 and facilities are top notch.

Looking good this year for a possible title challenge.
 
Southampton were a lot-easier of a challenge than I thought, I'm in my 5th season currently - and I won the CL last year, with it being my first year in the comp. Haven't won the league yet though because of **** Chelsea & more specifically Eden Hazard's OPness.
