I have been sat for a few days now pondering on a new save, from challenges like lower league to champions league, rebuilding a fallen giant ect... Then i thort is there a team with good potential, possibly with good finances or good backing from chairman that has an ageing squad that i could manage for 5-10 seasons without getting bored. A team that i maybe have to look at replacing the majority of the squad in the near future??

Birmingham have a pretty old squad, and I think the minimum expectation first season is top half finish (A)

Finances any good to be rebuilding year in year out?

Yeah there is no debt you can sell a few and take advantage of monthly instalments ;)
Check out my sig & story for my squad!!
I went a bit crazy but survived financially!!
Stoke are my favourite team to manage!
Great training facilities and board increase capacity of ground too

Beat you to it mate, reading it already. :D i dont usually buy in installments. my policy is usually buy upront n sell in installments. worth thinking about though.

I was also surprised at the players you can attract!
Neymar was interested 1st season for example!
They don't take the **** on wage demands either as you are not a moneybags club!
I did get caught out on the "match highest earner clause" though so a word of advice there :)

is your save on the 11.3 patch?

No good point started on 11.2
I know Lucas Sao Paulo is expensive on the new one!
Not sure about finances on 11.3
Should be better potentially as Gudjohnsen left and he was on 40k pw

in your story u play a 4-5-1, im a classic 4-4-2 man. is there players at club who can accomodate a 4-4-2? Dnt really have an in demp knowledge on the depth of the Stoke squad, jus the main men.

Well you have decent wingers in Pennant & Etherington already there.
They were ok as inside forwards but not as good as Lucas, Kadlec etc
If you play a target man Jones should be ok invest in a poacher alongside!
Shawcross is amazing keep at all costs!
There are a lot of players around 30 so lots of scope for rebuilding

There is not much youth coming thru either

Thanx for the advice, youve given me food for thought.
