Recalling a player from a loan?

I've been hit with a bit of an injury crisis and need to call a player that's in my squad back from loan but can't see the option how to do it ? Can I do it and if so how?

Click the player, then click "Transfer" ( not on the top right side) and recall from loan. Naturally, this only works if you have a recall clause in the loan contact

This seems to only work if there's no monthly loan fee from what I've read.

The game shouldn't allow you to set the 'Can Be Recalled' clause if it's cancelled out by a loan fee, I had no idea.

I want to recall some loan players who aren't being played - despite 'Key Player' being set.

Very frustrating.

Just to clear this up;

I can confirm you're able to recall players on loan during the transfer windows as long as you inserted the clause, this remains true even if there is a monthly fee or wage contribution towards the player.

You used to be able to recall at any time, now just during transfer windows.
