can anyone recommend a team to be outside of the English, Italian, Spanish, French and German leagues?

brazilian team santos maybe? iv tried them before and they are pretty interesting to manage as the brazilian league is pretty open. not like the premiership or la liga with a few big clubs its all mixed up in brazil. got a lot of great youth players like neymar as well.

river plate in argentina is also fun. great youngsters too. or just do a lower league save in a small country and work your way up

thats what iv done with eastleigh. im a southampton supporter and the closest lower league team is eastleigh in the blue square conference south! already promoted first season the dream of football league action goes on!

Lech Poznan is great fun for me :)

-Decent Budget
-Some Good Players
-Ok Facilities
-2-4 teams that are competetive in league
-Can challenge the europe

Charlton Athletic -

- No budget ( Challenge)
- Expect 1st Place
- Work your way up with them

Atletico Mineiro, Brazil. They have always had, by far, the best regens ever. Almost all of them turn out to be wonderkids.

you could be wolfsburg, try the keep Edin Dzeko challenge. no one has been able to get him to sign a new contract yet. try if you dare (6)

He said outside of Germany..
Anyway Santos looks interesting. Never managed them though so don't ask me

Didcot Town (southern are league)
no wage budger
lots of youth players and
no transfer budget

Try playing with MSK Zilina of Slovakia

Currently doing a story on them in FM2010 story thread.....Had some very good results, some suprise signings.

Go MyTeam from Malaysia (6), done it once and I really enjoyed it :P.

Shaktar are easy
FC Twente is alright
Braga is hard

:P

Seoul, South Korea. You're expected to do well, but there are a few problem areas in the squad and strengthening is needed. More of a challenge would be Jeju or Gangwon, currently they're second last and last respectively, and last year Jeju was last and Gangwon was third last.

Also, the Chile league was strangely fun to play in when I did a season there in Championship Manager 08, perhaps give that a go too. You have amazing players, and even the ones you don't play have loads of skill and get picked up by foreign clubs all the time. They're not necessarily EPL good (some of the players definitely are though) but good nonetheless.
