Portsmouth winning streak comes to an abrupt end Portsmouth 0-1 Ipswich
Ritchie had a day to forget
After a good 5 game unbeated run Portsmouth welcomed Ipswich to Fratton Park. Once again Belhadj was left out forcing Mullins to drop back to Centre half. Young striker Paul Murphy made his first appearance for Ipswich whilst Utaka looked to carry on his good form.
Pompey started off well knocking the ball about comfortably. After many missed chances Ipswich got the goal against the run of play as Leadbitter beat the offside trap to finish off his one-on-one right on the stroke of half time. In the second half Portsmouth pushed but just couldn't make the break through.

Probably not. They can't have a good knowledge of football if they wanted to appoint John Barnes. In all seriousness though good luck, how much money did the new owners give you?

Good luck mate, decent so far but little touches such as putting in screenshots of results (not accusing you of cheating but it's a little prettier of the eye), league table monthly, and player of the month awards would make this really good.
After Luigi Agnolin completed his takeover of Portsmouth Josh Malin has been removed of his position, despite being 4th in the league table. John Barnes is favourite to be appointed new manager after months of speculation. Here is what Malin said on his way out of Frattton Park - "I'm in shock and upset at the moment. I thought I had done well but that's football.."
I did a save with pompey in the championship, only I don't think you had the squad update, eg you had James and I received the same fate as you... granted I was in a worse position than you but came not long after a take over.
Shortly after being removed of his position at Portsmouth, Malin is back in football, this time as Charlton manager. Just 15 days after he was sacked Phil Parkinson recieved the same treatment, after Malin had declared his interest in the Addicks job. Malin has been given a 3 year contract on £2,350 a week. He faces the challenge of getting the club into the play off's, but at the moment they lie 16th in the league 1 table.
