A great game that me and my friend came up between us the other day was basically to recreate the starting lineups of certain teams with modern, similar players.
So for example the invincibles arsenal team, or the 2005 Chelsea team, the 2004 Real Madrid team or the Milan team that played Liverpool in 2005 etc.
By similar players I mean mainly similar attributes, playing style etc but as a bonus it could also be them being from the same nation for example Marcelo seems to be the closest current player to Roberto Carlos and Daniel Alves seems to be the closest to Cafu and they are also from the same nation which is a bonus.
It's better to pick players who's potential is relatively established i.e. not a 16 year old who may turn out to be nothing special eventually and younger players are better because it would be good to recreate some of these in game.
