I had this idea about the same time another manager story similar came out. I waited and that one hasn't been updated in a bit so it seems like now is an alright time to try myself. Just FYI I'm not huge on graphics, so I might not include a ton. But I am huge on FM so as long as I am getting a few responses and such I should be able to keep it going.

Espn FC:
Sources have made ESPN aware that Dietrich Mateschitz the majority owner of the wildly successful energy drink company Red Bull is reportedly making an aggressive bid to buy the club Leeds in England. The drink company has been rumored to be looking to get into the champions league and while a team in the championship of England seems a long way off apparently Red Bull believes they are close enough. We will have more as we learn it.

Espn FC:
After hearing next to nothing since the news of Red Bull’s plans were leaked ESPN has had the news of the upcoming purchase of Leeds FC from the new owner himself, Mateschitz called ESPN himself to report the news and then proceeded to give an impromptu interview to the AP.

AP: So do we understand correctly that you officially own the club Leeds FC?

Mateschitz: That is nearly correct, the club will be owned by Red Bull in about 3 hours, I was too excited to wait however and thought I’d share it with you, and the world.

AP: Do you have any plans to change some of the traditions of Leeds to make them more Red Bull friendly.

Mateschitz: Not as much as we’ve done in the past, we will be changing the name a bit, the home uniform will change and the new uniform sponsor is of course Red Bull.

AP: How do you think Brian Mcdermott will feel about all of these changes or does he already know.

Mateschitz: Well I don’t know much about what Brian thinks, he has been told that he will no longer be manager of the club in about 4 hours and I know he wasn’t pleased about that. As for the rest of the news, I do not know how he feels.

AP: Wow that was not expected, do you have a replacement in mind? I heard a rumor that if he was let go you could be looking to Roberto Mancini or Nigel Adkins, can you lend any credence to those rumors?

Mateschitz: Um, no neither of them, I have a manager in mind and he will be a bit of a surprise. To quote an eccentric American football player that I’ve grown to quite like, “Get your popcorn ready”.
The line went dead after that and ESPN’s multiple attempts to reconnect were unsuccessful, the rumor mill will certainly be out in full force about this newest development.

That's all I have time for this morning, but I will have more updates including the head coach, and maybe some signings(I've done them already, just don't know how long the update will take).

Red Bull Leeds Announce New Head Man

Red Bull Leeds have an announced that Joseph Flores will be the new Head Coach in a stunning turn of events. The American was a fairly successful player and a hot name for some NASL positions but no one expected him to be given such a high profile opportunity so soon. More to come later including an exclusive interview with Joseph.

From thescratchingshed.com

Doug Gisby: Thanks for giving us your first interview as coach, I was surprised you didn't do your first one with Sky or someone like that.

Joseph: I actually called them first but they'd never heard of me.

Doug Gisby: Alright, so how do you feel about being given such a huge opportunity to take over a team such as Leeds especially with them flush full of cash apparently.

Joseph: Do we have a big transfer kitty? Just kidding, I am thrilled to be given the opportunity, some might think I don't deserve it but I've got some big plans for this club and Dietrich loved my ideas, so here I am.

Doug Gisby: Reportedly your club will receive more than 30 million dollars in transfer funds.

Joseph: How nice of you to convert it to dollars for me instead of pounds, I like you Doug.

Doug: Thank you Mr. Flores

Joseph: Call me Joseph, or Hulk, I'd like to steal that from him if I can, I know I don't look like Lou but it's a sweet name.

Doug: I'm not so sure about that one. Any ideas on who your first signings will be.

Joseph: Yes
