Happened a while back, but the Bulls are building a solid team.

Yeah this happened ages ago but it's still a good signing

NY will win the title this year easily. both henry and marquez are class footballers.

there after luke rodgers from notts county too lol

This will really help the team out, having a great striker (Henry) is beneficial when attacking but Marquez can contribute in all aspects of play. Good signing from the Red Bulls.

The MLS is gaining recognition and it's becoming a real competition in America now!

How are they signing these players? Angel, Henry and now Marquez, surely they've gone over the salary cap

They may have a salary cap, but the MLS allowed designated players, which means you can pay excessively for a player and not pass the salary cap. How they got three though is understandable in theory, but incomprehensible in practice.

Simply put, the Red Bulls have become the giants of USA because of the designated player rule.

It's like they're becoming the Man City of the MLS..

Wow! I would have thought the guy would want to keep playing at the highest level, there is no doubting his ability.

I suppose he is closer to Mexico and the money will benefit him.

I think that you can have 2 designated players and then you can purchase another slot for $500,000, thus how they have these three players at once.

Marquez is a really good player, could definitely do a good job at Liverpool or any other top team for that matter. When he was at his peak he was one of my favourite defenders/anchor men. Sort of finished his career moving to the MLS.

surely they're screwed wen the draft comes around?
