Red Cards?!

I am having real trouble with my players getting sent off recently. I have been using the same tactic when I started noticing, so I have taken off the "get stuck in" shout, but it made no difference. I have got 6 red cards in the last 6 games, and it is really starting to cost me. I have lost 5 out of 6 of them games, and it is really starting to frustrate me.

So my questions are, has anybody else noticed a high number of red cards? And how do I combat this?
 
It's probably not related to the shouts. Instead, pay attention to the players body language during the game.
I've noticed players who are anxious or loosing confidence are more likely to make rash challenges.
What's your moral like? For me, moral is the single most important element in FM14!
 
My morale was good. It's declining rapidly though. I noticed it when I signed Jadson, who got a red on his debut. Since then it's been 7 in 7. I have fined every play who has got a red too
 
Open up the replays and look at the passage of play leading up to it. Is the player out of position, dose he look tired (check his condition), is he nervous (check his body language).

Most players don't handle pressure well. The ones who can, more often than not, go on to be world class players.
 
I will take a look when I'm on FM new. It's just really frustrating it has started all of a sudden. I think I've only got 1 red card the whole season before this spell, and it's late February.

aye, I know how you feel. It's happened to me the odd time but not to those extremes. 7 is enough to make you give up on football for a few weeks. :P
Hope it picks up and fortunes change for ya soon.
 
Cheers mate. Ita not like I can leave a the player out too because it's been a different one every time. I was looking at a Europa league spot before this happened. Now looking at mid-table :'( saying that I just got promoted and I am predicted 17th so I can't complain lol
