Reduce Wage Demands

Hi,

So I'm playing with Liverpool, pre-season atm in 2013. I have a bunch of players I want to offload, and I have a sizeable budget to spend on new ones, I'm just having trouble offloading them.
I can't sell 'em because of their high wage demands, but when I go to interact with them and ask them to "Reduce Wage Demands", that option is greyed out.
Any help as to how to deal with this would be much appreciated,

This option is only if YOUR team is in financial trouble and you need players to start taking pay cuts, not when selling on! Sorry...
 
only advice i would give is try and make them as unhappy as possible at your club. :)
 
Yep. Stick them in the reserves and transfer list them. You should be able to be over your wage budget without copping it from your board until January, when you can sell them. They'll become desparate to play 1st team football and sign for anyone really.
