regarding instaling the latest patch on my pc

whenever i try to install the lastest patch this message comes up i have even tried uninstalling it and starting over it still no use pls help

A sharing violation occurred while accessing c;/program files (x86)/ sports interactive/ football manager 2011/ data/skins fmf

please someone help

This should be in the Technical help sub forum. Have you searched in there? Im not sure about your problem but have you considered sending the file in question into the recycle bin and install the update and then replace the file where it was

Just make sure you dont delete the file

Close the game down then try to patch it. The patch can't access and overwrite files when they are in use, if the game is running those files are in use.

The same thing is happening to me, I have tried your suggestion (closing the game & then trying the patch) however, the same thing is still happening, i think it is the 172nd folder? do you have any other suggestions?
