Regarding player roles.

Ive always wondered about player roles. Apart from the player instructions sliders that change values depending on what role you set, does the role change anything else on how the player behaves?

Yes very much e.g is you set a full back to defend they wont go up for attacks,
If you play an attacking midfielder at a advanced playmaker he will look for the pass and he will get a lot of assists but if you set him as a trequartista he will score a lot of goals and will be your main attackting outlet.
