Reinstallation Question

I have had so many problems with FM today. But i have reinstalled Steam and it's reinstalling the game as I write. My question when it asks for the key on the Box will it not work as I put it after I got it months ago for a Present or will it be fine any help?

It shouldn't ask for the key if it's downloading it from Steam.

Yeah, when you install it for the first time. But after that it should be linked to your Steam Account.

Aslong as you install it on the same steam account as it was on last time it should be fine
