Hello guys. I am kinda a new player. This problem may have been addressed before, but I can't find the answer, so please help :@

If I choose a role while setting all the instructions as another role, will the player's performance still stick to its original role?

e.g. I found that deep-lying fwd has similar instructions as advanced fwd, except hold up ball, crossing and run with ball. Then, I set Rooney as a deep-lying fwd (attack) role, while disabled "hold up ball" and changed some other instructions so his instructions are exactly the same as adv fwd. So, will he perform like an advanced or d-l forward? oO)

He will perform some actions that a Deep-Lying Forward would do (i.e. drop deeper than the striker, move further forward when on the attack) but generally have the replica of an Advanced Forward.
