Release Clause Not Working?

Hi,

I scouted a regen and my scout has reported that he has a 3.4m release clause however when checking his contract info screen there is no mention of a release clause and I also had a big rejected for 3.4m. Is this a bug with the scout report or the player?

Maybe the player accepted a contract offer somewhere between the date of the report and the game current date?

You've to offer the cash up-front. Also check to see if it's a relegation release clause.
