Hello,
I've made several attempts at this myself but have concluded I am completely useless at editing so I hoped the concept might be appealing to experienced folk out there.
As a Scottish football fan, I've witnessed the decline in footballing standards due to television money and the success of the EPL, La Liga amongst others. Big European teams from outside these leagues are finding it increasingly difficult to draw crowds, sign talented players and compete in Europe. What I wanted to do was to create a system where the big teams formed their own regional leagues - for example: a Scandanavian League, a Celtic League, a Beneleux League - to compete alongside the EPL and La Liga.
A similar concept has been attempted here European Leagues: Mergers - The Dugout Football Manager Community which is almost exactly as I imagined in my head but the editor never got round to uploading his work.
I hope someone finds this appealing or challenging enough to give it a try and upload their results!
