hi all,

i just signed jéróme boateng for £5m, but a week later he requests a conversation and asks...

he is now on a 34 day 'leave'

has anyone else come across this??
 
Yes, it CAN help a player settle in. Been on since 2009 hasn't it?
 
this is the first time i have come across it!

i hope he doesnt come back and still cant settle, he will be vital for me this season!!
 
If he asks a second time let him go again mate, he will then settle , dont worry
 
on FM 10 Nilmar was always unsettled at villarreal, made it impossible to play iwth him, regardless of how good he was
 
Had that problem with Neymar in the FM10 game, let him go on holiday twice while I signed a few coaches/players he got on with, even if they were rubbish. When he came back he was the best player I ever had on my team, played out of his skin after that.
 
Happened a few times to me, Just a case of respecting the players wish and in return he will repay it to you. Just the same that would happen in real life, IMPO I think thats why tevez was in Argentina for a while this season, I don't know but just the thought came through my had
 
Signed Marko Marin for Barca, he said he was homesick and I gave him a leave of absence, when he came back straight away he said he was unhappy as he wasn't getting first team football? You've just been away for a month WTF?!
 
One of my players needed a leave of absence as he was homesick.

He was born in Bristol, how the **** can he be homesick ? XD
 
Just had a player complain about being homesick and ask for a leave of absence.

It came up on my screen, im in 2022 and they are all regens so im just using player a etc here

Player A is unhappy, requests leave of absence due to homesickness
Player B is unhappy at how player A has been treated
Player C is unhappy at how player A has been treated.

I havent done anything to player A so why are B and C moaning. I give player A time off to go get himself together and then try to cure the problem with B and C because they are wanting a private chat with me, I say there is no concern and they both said I am in denial of my management skills and can't work with me any longer.

Squad morale has fallen over this but player A is happy because he is off on his little holiday.
Player B is my top scorer. It's doing my head in.
 
Hate it when they ask this!!!! i've just bought you why would i wanna let you go!!!!!!!!
