Whilst i may not post a lot
I had a brainwave, a brainstorm or a lighting thought...all bad non pc words...and that was, what about continental tournaments for those that don't play in the first team?
The reason behind this, was that whilst there are many under 18, 19, 20 etc tournaments such as the world cups for them and there are domestic cups and leagues, I couldn't find anything that allowed reserve and youth teams to play in Europe (just an example, can be Asia etc) on a regular basis.
Now i guess the major problem would be the requirements, as those teams in Spain do not have the same style of reserves as teams in England, so of course that would be an issue to address. But surely the plus side would be the ablity to see how those of the future, players with potential can fare on a continental scale without risking the integrity of the first team straight away and others to get a better view of how they develop, more tv time matches perhaps.
Just a thought..
