Reserves Coach

Hey there! I'm trying to set up a good coaching base for my team at FM 2014 and I can't figure out what's the exact function of the "reserves coach". As far as I can see, senior and reserves squad train together by both normal coaches and reserves coaches. However, the reserves coaches also appear at the setup of my Under 20 training.
Do those reserves coaches train the 3 teams (senior, reserves and Under 20)? And do senior and reserves squads actually traing together? If so, is it actually better to assign my best coaches as reserves coaches instead of normal ones?
If anyone can help me at this, I'll be very grateful!

from what i see, u21 and senior squad train together so , i would set any new coaches to just be a 'coach' ,u18 is seperate training

First team and reserves use the same coaches, u18 uses the senior fitness and GK coaches but the other 5 are separate. I'd just stick with signing the best coaches as normal ones, believe you can offer more money and usually more willing to sign. They're usually not as great at training youth anyway due to low working with youngsters on most of them.
