Restoring Fallen Giants Series

This is the start of my new series in which I will be restoring clubs to their former glories. There are several clubs around the world who have fallen from grace, and I have tasked myself with restoring them back to their top divisions. I will be spending ten years at each club, and then score myself based on my success and see which club I do best with.
The clubs I will be doing this with are: Deportivo, Leeds, Portsmouth, RC Strasbourg and Pro Vercelli.
(If anyone has another other fallen giants they would like me to restore, just post the team)

So we start our journey at Deportivo La Coruna. The one time Liga BBVA winners currently find themselves in Liga Adelante and in a seriously poor financial position. They have a loan debt of 56 Million, so getting promotion to Liga BBVA in the first season is paramount. A good run in the Spanish Cup wouldn't do any harm either.

If you're still looking for lost glory: Sparta, in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. Excluding amateur team HVV, Sparta ranks 4th with six championship titles (HVV holds 10).

They're famous for their youth academy and their beautiful grounds: Het Kasteel ("The Castle"; the facade actually looks like a castle!).
