reverting to patch 11.2 and saves question

Hi, I'd like to go back to patch 11.2 as I'm really not enjoying 11.3 for a number of reasons. I have a couple of questions though.

Is there a way to do that without uninstalling/reinstalling (non-steam)?

I had started a save on 11.3, will I still be able to play it without problems if I go back to 11.2?

You have to start a new game, then the top option lets you change which patch you want. You wont be able to change the patch that your game is on though.

Thanks, but I'm afraid that is only the DB, which I actually have no problem with, and I'm pretty sure that option doesn't affect ME (my main issue) and the game itself, which will still be 11.3

I'll probably have to reinstall, but for example I had a save on patch 11.1 and I was able to continue after patch 11.2 with new ME. Does it work the same when downgrading?
