Richard Branson has today completed the takeover of Fulham Football Club from previous owner Sahid Kahn.

In the £360m deal Branson has named England Legend David Beckham as his Chairman, declaring "I can't think of anyone better to run day to day dealings at the club. His passion for the game is unrivalled and I know he is the right choice."

Branson concluded that the deal to buy Fulham was just the start of things to come. He has outlined some very specific aims for his team.

  • [*=1]To be a major force in world football within five years.
[*=1]To be self sufficient by producing top quality youth players.
[*=1]To adopt a distinctive style of play that people remember for years to come.
Manager Jedd has been appointed and has already stated he thought the aims were achievable. 'I have my own ideals in football, and I agree with Richard, and his project, 100% of the way.

'I look forward to my future with the team.'

Beckham Announces Major Changes at the Club

David Beckham has today announced the first of 'many' changes at the London based Football Club.

New manager Jedd has wasted no time in replacing almost the entirety of the back room staff at the club, with many long-term members leaving.

The new staff include such names as recent Premier League managers David Moyes & Andre Villas Boas. Beckham is believed to have offered lucrative deals to the two men, and given they are currently unemployed, they have joined the project, stating it was a 'great chance to make something special'.

Others such as Alessandro Nista, Bernhard Peters and Rodolfo Borrello are just some of the names announced.

With the backroom staff seemingly complete, time will only tell on the transfer front - who will Fulham sign being the question on everyone's minds.

Fulham Chairman David Beckham announced today that the club has completed the signing of nine players.

The list is as follows;

  • [*=1]Gino Peruzzi from Catania
    [*=1]Alex Sandro from FC Porto
[*=1]Kevin Strootman & Alessandro Florenzi from AS Roma
    [*=1]Mateo Musacchio from Villarreal
    [*=1]Etienne Capoue from Tottenham
    [*=1]Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan
    [*=1]Daniele Rugani from Juventus
    [*=1]Moses Odubajo from Leyton Orient
The club haven't disclosed the transfer fees separately, however we do know the total outlay of these players; a cool £107m pounds. Individual fees can only be guessed at this time, but we think Peruzzi, Sandro, Florenzi and Strootman probably commanded the highest fees.

Beckham also announced that Odubajo will join his former club Leyton Orient on a season long loan as part of the deal.
