Right & left back give to much space in the back

How do is solve the tactical problem that my left & right back are always giving to much space in the back.

Even if my defensive line is low and they are at defensive dutie.

You tried setting player instructions to close down less often. They may sit a bit deeper and leave less room in behind.

I play them in the more forward WB position. This edition seems to inevitably concede chances whatever you do or however good your defence is. You might concede some space at the back but your WB's will try intercept the ball before it gets to that point, and your CB's naturally sweep up at the flanks behind them. Like the guy above says, have them with 'stay wider' and 'close down less' instruction seems to help
