Rigid tactic ? Low conceding tactic ?

Hi

In this FM 14 i have had alot of problems this year, it seems like it is impossible to defend proberly atm?

I also see all the tactics here are very offensive.

I really wanna play a chelsea save, where i dont concede alot, i like playing rigid and low conceding, very strong defense.

Is it impossible to have a succesful rigid defensive tactic atm?

Any thoughts?
 
Id suggest playing a 4-1-3-2. Flat back 4 with limited full backs, a DM (halfback perhaps), 3 CM's maybe 2 of them as box-to-box. and then whatever striker roles you like.

Play very rigid or rigid and control philosophy. short passing, retain possession, no risky passes etc, work ball into box..

play a very patient, posession game. you wont score too many but when you do your likely to win by 1-0 or 2-0.

Bugs to be solved, wait for the patch to be released this week
 
News on that patch release has actually made my night. This match engine is making blood boil

They said they are still testing following that, not ETA on when it will be, they listed a couple of things they are working on CC conversion etc but nothing set in stone... Gits! :)

That was previously to this week. I can't access the SI forum right now but this week was posted that a new patch should be released by the end of the week... although a delay can always happen.

Today there threatening to ban people for a week if they ask again when it out.. jesus fpalm
 
Well, now they are saying again that they don't know the day or the week of patch release (H)
